Unexplained death: A post mortem carried out on the body of a man found dead on Portland Street in Lincoln has been inconclusive.

A post-mortem carried out on the body of a man found dead on Portland Street in Lincoln has been inconclusive.

As previously reported, police were called to an address on the street before midday on Sunday, June 16, where the body of a 33-year-old local man was found.

A post-mortem has been carried out on Wednesday and the results were inconclusive, Lincolnshire Police said in a statement.

Further analysis is taking place and enquiries are ongoing in the Portland Street area.

At this stage the death is still being treated as unexplained.
