Six arrested on suspicion of criminal damage at RAF Waddington

Damaged fence: Police have arrested six people believed to have caused criminal damage to a fence at RAF Waddington.

Lincolnshire Police have arrested six people outside RAF Waddington on suspicion of criminal damage.

The incident happened on Monday, June 3, from 8.48am, when a number of people gathered outside RAF Waddington, believed to be peace protesters.

After a number of reports stating people had damaged a perimeter fence, police arrested six people on the scene on suspicion of criminal damage.

They are currently assisting Lincolnshire Police with their enquiries.
