City of Lincoln Council chief exec on indefinite leave from work due to health

Interim CEO appointed: The City of Lincoln Council Chief Executive, Andrew Taylor, is taking an indefinite leave from his role due to health issues.

The City of Lincoln Council Chief Executive, Andrew Taylor, is taking an indefinite leave from his role due to health issues.

He is currently undergoing treatment and has stepped down from the role for the period.

During his absence, Director of Resources, Angela Andrews, will step up to the interim position of Deputy Chief Executive, taking on additional responsibility for the Chief Executive’s Directorate.

Cllr Ric Metcalfe, Leader of City of Lincoln Council, said: “All the council’s Members and staff wish Andrew a speedy recovery and our thoughts are with him and his family at this time.”
