Two women injured as car overturns on Greetwell Road

A Lincoln road was closed throughout the early hours while an overturned car was recovered.

The crash happened at around 11.26pm on September 15 on Greetwell Road, near Greetway Hollow, where a Ford Focus from Woodhall Spa left the road and overturned.

The incident involved the single vehicle, but both the driver and passenger only sustained minor injuries.

The 20-year-old female driver from Woodhall Spa sustained cuts and bruises, while the female passenger (19) from Lincoln had some whiplash.

Greetwell Road was closed off while a recovery vehicle removed the car from the scene, and the road reopened later in the morning on September 16.
