Police search for woman missing from Lincoln mental health centre

Appeal for help: Police are appealing for information after a woman failed to return to a mental health facility at Lincoln County Hospital.

Police are appealing for information after a woman failed to return to a mental health facility at Lincoln County Hospital.

Mary McCree, who also calls herself Natasha, went missing from the Peter Hodgkinson Centre in Lincoln having been granted a day’s leave on April 20.

She was due to return by 8pm but failed to do so.

Mary, 40, has been spoken to on the phone since she was reported missing but would not divulge her whereabouts. Both her family and the police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Officers have said that Mary is very religious and is known to attend the catholic church.

She is described as a black woman, of large build, 5ft 6 in height. She has shoulder length black afro-style hair with brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light blue jumper, cropped dark jeans and black glasses.

Anyone who may have seen Mary should contact Lincolnshire Police as soon as possible on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 435 of April 20.
