Teenage girl seriously injured after collision near Lincoln

Serious injuries: Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash on the B1190 near Lincoln, which left a teenage girl with serious injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash on the B1190 at Tupholme near Lincoln, which left a teenage girl with serious injuries.

The yellow Renault Clio was travelling from Bardney towards Bucknall shortly before 6pm on Saturday April 25, when it left the road and entered a field.

The driver was an 18 year-old girl from the Market Rasen area and the passenger is a 17 year-old girl from Horncastle.

The passenger was airlifted to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious injuries.

The road was closed until 11pm.

Any witnesses to the collision, who have not already spoken with police, are asked to call 101, quoting incident number 317 on April 25/
