Wider appeal for missing Lincolnshire teenager

Growing concern: The search for missing teenager Lili Munteanu has widened, with West Midlands Police now in charge of the investigation.

Police have launched a wider appeal for missing teenager Lili Munteanu, with the West Midlands force now in charge of the investigation.

Lili was last seen in the Coningsby area on Thursday, April 16 and has not been seen since.

Officers are following a number of leads and believe it is possible the 15-year-old may have travelled to the Birmingham area.

She is also known to have travelled to Cambridgeshire, has family in Luton and regularly uses the road and rail network.

Lili is described as white, 4ft 8ins tall, petite build and has long light auburn curly hair. She was last seen wearing ripped jeans, a black leather bomber jacket with fur collar and high heels.

Inspector Jon Ashman, from Birmingham Police, said: “We are concerned for Lili’s welfare and want to find her as quickly as possible – we know she has links to Birmingham and may be in the area somewhere.

“We would ask anyone who has seen her to come forward and contact us as soon as possible.

“I also want to appeal directly to Lili to let us know she is safe and well.”

Anyone with information should contact Inspector Ashman on 101 or the Missing People charity on 116 000.
