Serious collision: A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a collision with a car on the B1190 near Lincoln.

Update 1.46pm: The collision involved a Honda motorbike and Renault Clio.

The motorcyclist, a man aged 46 and from Horncastle, was taken by air ambulance to Hull Royal Infirmary, where he was treated for multiple fractures and internal injuries.

His condition is described as stable. The driver of the car was uninjured.


Emergency services attended the scene of the crash, which happened at around 8.30am on Tuesday, June 2 on an unclassified road near Bucknall.

Police officers at the scene said the motorcyclist was being treated for serious injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 60 of June 2.
