A CCTV appeal has been launched to find three people who were in the area when a man was attacked and left with serious head injuries in Scunthorpe.

The incident happened on Sunday, July 24 at around 12.30am in the car park of Queensway public house on Ashby Road.

Police say they believe the 32-year-old man was involved in a fight with a number of people prior to sustaining a serious head injury.

The victim was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary where he remains in a stable condition.

Police have released CCTV images of three people who were walking by at the time of the altercation and are looking to speak with them.
