Firefighters rescued a baby and a toddler after being trapped in a car in Sleaford yesterday (Monday, August 16).

The six-month-old baby and two-year-old child were rescued by firefighters on Winchester Way after being accidentally locked in the car.

At around 7.20pm, firefighters used a centre punch to smash the window of the vehicle to release the children from the car.

Both children are safe and well.
