Police name woman who died in two-vehicle Caistor crash

Lincolnshire Police have officially named the woman who died after a two-vehicle crash near Caistor at the weekend.

Marlene Hadley, 73, and of North Killingholme, died following the collision between a white Ford Focus and an orange Kia Sportage on Sunday, August 21 at Fonaby Top, off the A1173.

Officers have notified Marlene’s family.

Ewan Gell, Senior Investigating Officer at Lincolnshire Police, said: “We are still investigating this incident and we need anyone who hasn’t yet come forward to get in touch.

“If you were at this location at 4pm and saw either the white Ford travelling towards Caistor from the direction of Humberside Airport, or the orange Kia heading towards Brocklesbury, please call us on 101 quoting incident number 276 of August 21.”
