A 17-year-old man has been bailed following a serious assault near a Skegness pub at the weekend.

As previously reported, the incident took place in or near the Summerlands Pub on Roman Bank, Winthorpe at around half past midnight in the early hours of Sunday, August 14.

The victim suffered serious head injuries as a result of the attack and is still recovering in hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the attack should call 101 with information for the attention of PC1370 Evans or DC44 Graves at Skegness CID.
