Two holidaymakers were taken to hospital with head injuries after being robbed following a night out in Cleethorpes.

The incident happened at around midnight on Friday, September 16, as the 37-year-old and 55-year-old victims walked from Mucky Muldoon’s pub towards Cleethorpes Leisure Centre.

As the men neared the statue of the Boy With The Leaking Boot, they were approached by two men and a woman.

One of the men is then said to have physically assaulted the victims, making off with two gold necklaces and a gold bracelet.

Both were treated at Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital for facial and head injuries.

The suspect is said to be white, aged 20 to 25, of slim build, with dark brown hair that was shaved around the sides.

He wore grey jogging bottoms.
