Lincolnshire’s first ever Bubble Rush saw hundreds of runners charging through coloured walls of foam with the aim of raising money for a children’s hospice.

The Lincoln Bubble Rush was held on Sunday, September 11 at Boultham Park, and saw children and adults – known as ‘bubblers’ – blasted with coloured foam.

The 5k course was dotted with bubble stations manned by ‘bubble commandos’, who used high-powered cannons to create walls of foam, which the runners charged through.

Take a look through our pictures from the day:

The event was organised by Andy’s at St Andrew’s Hospice, Lincolnshire’s only children’s hospice providing care for children with progressive life-limiting illnesses.

Andy’s is based in Grimsby and looks after children and young people from birth to the age of 25 with any progressive life-limiting illness.
