Paramedics have been called to the scene after a car crashed into a lamppost in Lincoln earlier today.

The incident happened just before 11am at the Skellingthorpe roundabout at the junction with Skellingthorpe Road.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision.

The county highways department is currently on the scene fixing the lamppost, which was leaning as a result of the crash.

Lincolnshire Police said an ambulance has been requested.

The extent of any injuries is unclear at the time of writing.
