Police are appealing for witnesses following a space of car break-ins in Lincoln over the last week.

A number of cars have been broken into with items such as wallets, phones and loose change stolen.

Mercer Drive, May 25

The first break-in saw a number of items stolen from a car between 8pm on May 25 and 6am on May 26 on Mercer Drive.

An empty wallet, sunglasses, a work phone and some loose change were taken by the offenders.

It is believed access could have been gained via an insecure window.

Carholme Golf Club, May 29

A vehicle was broken into in the car park of Carholme Golf Club between midday and 4.30pm on May 29.

Access was gained via tampering with the drivers side front door.

An Adidas gym bag containing a laptop, clothing and toiletries was stolen.

Mill Road, May 30

A vehicle was broken into overnight on May 29 whilst parked on Mill Road.

A satnav appears to be the only thing that was stolen.

Access to the vehicle was gained by breaking the passenger side front quarter light on window of the vehicle.
