A new supermarket has opened in Boston over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Mint supermarket opened in Boston with a VIP preview on the evening of Friday, May 26 and an official opening on Saturday, May 27.

Councillors, business leaders and charities got an exclusive look round the new supermarket on the Boston Shopping Park off Horncastle Road.

On the Saturday, Boston’s new Mayor, Councillor Brian Rush, cut the ribbon and officially opened the store.

Mint is a new concept in supermarkets, offering a British aesthetic and high-quality branded products at an affordable price.

David Lambert, operations manager at Mint said: “We were delighted with the turnout for our opening and really encouraged by the support we’ve been shown for our new venture.”
