Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire will play a surprise warm-up gig for the Isle of Wight Festival at the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe next month.

The art rock band, who have gained critical and commercial success during a 16-year career, will perform in the north Lincolnshire town on Wednesday, June 7.

The gig will be played “in the round” with the stage in the middle of the crowd.

Arcade Fire have released four studio albums, with their 2013 work Reflektor going to number one in the charts.

Standing and limited balcony seating is available for the gig.

Tickets are priced £45 each (booking fee may apply).
