Emergency services were called to a supermarket car park in Spalding over the weekend after a baby was locked in a car.

An ambulance arrived at the Sainsbury’s car park at Holland Market at around 12.30pm on Sunday, June 18.

Reports suggest that an ambulance was called for the child but thankfully the baby was unharmed.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “This is incident 225 of June 18.

“The child was unharmed.

“We have specific procedures that we follow for any incidents involving the welfare of children and these will have been implemented.”
