Two people have been arrested following a number of burglaries in Spalding.

A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old female were arrested in connection with a recent series of burglaries in Spalding, where key safes were being entered.

Following their arrest, property which is believed to have been stolen has been recovered.

At this time both have been released from custody but remain under investigation pending further enquiries.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Following a brief respite from offences since last Thursday, three new offences have been reported overnight last night (Sunday/Monday).

“They were all in Spalding on Johnson Avenue, Oak Court, and Lime Court.

“Fortunately no entry was gained to any of the properties, and only the key safes were attacked.

“We continue to ask residents to be vigilant, and to report any suspicious activity when it is happening.”
