Weather forecast: Showers possible on day two of Lincolnshire Show

The gates have reopened for the second day of the annual Lincolnshire Show, and visitors appear to be in line for a mixed bag of weather. The gates have reopened for the second day of the annual Lincolnshire Show, and visitors appear to be in line for a mixed bag of weather.

Some 60,000 people are expected to visit the event at the Lincolnshire Showground, enjoying the work of 600 exhibitors as well as entertainment, food and drink and farm life.

Below is the latest Lincoln weather predictions from the Met Office:


The second day of the show will generally be much cooler than yesterday, with highs predicted of 21 degrees celsius.

The morning is expected to be dry and overcast with clouds thickening into lunchtime.

A yellow warning for rain has been issued for the period between 11am and 5pm.

Temperatures however are not expected to drop below 19 degrees.

Met Office forecasters say: “Occasional showers through the morning, some of which may be heavy. Brightening up during the afternoon with sunny spells developing.

“[Tonight] Some clearer spells at first but cloud increasing overnight. Most parts remaining dry but some outbreaks of rain are likely in northern parts later in the night.”
