A Grimsby man has suffered bruising to his face and a cut head after being punched during a night-time attack in the town.
Three men approached the victim outside the St James Hotel shortly after midnight on Saturday, August 12.
One of the men then punched the victim, causing him to fall backwards.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of assault by police a short time later.
They have been released under investigation.
A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for anyone who saw this incident to call us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 14 of August 12.”
