According to the Met Office, showery rain is expected to arrive in the region from the north in the early hours with a chilly minimum temperature of eight degrees celsius.

Saturday is expected to stay rather cloudy for most of the day with heavy showers, most likely affecting Lincolnshire.

It’ll be quite cool again with light winds and a maximum temperature expected of 14 degrees celsius.

The outlook for Sunday is slightly brighter with just a few showers predicted by the Met Office.
