Boy, 13, charged with bringing air rifle and blade into school with intent to cause fear

He is due in court.

A 13-year-old boy will appear in court after being charged with bringing an air rifle and blade into school.

The incident happened at the Holbeach Academy at 9.12am on Monday, November 13.

The boy has been charged with being in possession of an air weapon with intent to cause the fear of violence, and being in possession of a sharply pointed article on school premises.

No one was injured in the incident at the school.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will be appearing at court in Lincoln this morning.
