Five men from Kent and Surrey escorted out of Lincolnshire after hare coursing reports

Hare coursing was reported in a number of areas.

Five men from Kent and Surrey have been given dispersal notices and escorted from Lincolnshire after reports of hare coursing in the county.

Lincolnshire Police received tip-offs of hare coursing in Amber Hill, Sibsey, Wigtoft, Friskney and Bicker in the Boston area, and Lutton in South Holland.

Officers believed at least four vehicles were involved.

A red Toyota Rav 4 was seized and investigations are continuing to identify people suspected of being involved.

Police have given a driver a Section 59 warning, meaning his car can be seized if he is found driving off-road in the next 12 months.
