Man killed in village crash officially named

The road was closed for over seven hours.

A man who died at the scene of a crash on a village road has been officially named.

Zbigniew Grzegorek was killed when the silver Vauxhall Vectra he was driving left the B1184 near Old Leake and crashed on the evening of Wednesday, May 17.

A man in his 20s from the Boston area who was a passenger in the car was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

Lincolnshire Police closed the road for over seven hours following the fatality.

An inquest into the death will open at Boston Coroners’ Court on Thursday, November 9.
