Appeal after man attacked at Gainsborough supermarket

He suffered bruising and swelling to his face.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a ‘vicious’ unprovoked assault a an Aldi supermarket car park in Gainsborough earlier this month.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on December 8 on Lea Road.

A man in his mid-50s was trying to exit the car park in his vehicle when a boy blocked his path.

The victim got out of his car and was struck to the floor by the offender.

He suffered bruising and swelling to his face.
