40 new homes complete in phase one of Nettleham development

The housing plot includes 10 affordable homes.

The first phase of a new homes development in Nettleham is due for completion with 40 new properties, including 10 affordable homes, available for rent and shared ownership.

Homes by Stirlin have been working closely with West Lindsey Building Control for the Lodge Lane development in the Lincoln village, which will be a mix of two to five-bed homes.

Six of the 10 affordable homes are two to three bedrooms for affordable rent, with four three-bedroom homes for shared ownership, which will be owned and managed by North Lincolnshire’s largest housing provider Ongo.

Work for Phase Two of the development has already commenced, with foundations and shell construction due to start in the next few weeks.

Managing Director at Homes by Stirlin James Kirby said: “We chose to develop in Nettleham as the village offers a perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities and is ideally located close to Lincoln city centre.

“Young professionals can reach the city in under 10 minutes, families benefit from local infant, primary and secondary schools and older residents benefit from the village shops and services.”

The affordable homes will be available to let through West Lindsey’s new Home Choice system – to register click here.

Ongo can be contacted for shared ownership enquiries and anyone wanting to register their interest for one of the affordable homes can click here.
