Hundreds of homes without power in the south of Lincoln

Here’s when power will be restored.

Hundreds of homes in the south of Lincoln are still without power, but Western Power Distribution hopes to restore power to all those affected by 5.30pm.

At around 3.45pm on Friday, April 27 a power cut affected 2,400 customers of Western Power Distribution in the Brant Road area and south of the city, with 500 restored within three minutes.

Another 1,600 homes have already had power restored since and a spokesperson for the organisation confirmed to The Lincolnite that engineers are working to restore power to all homes by 5.30pm if not sooner.

The spokesperson added: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused”.
