Your guide to Pistons in the Park 2018

Pistons in the Park – Classic Edition, is back with a number of new elements and a classic twist.

Taking place on Saturday June 30 and Sunday July 1 at Lincolnshire Showground, Pistons in the Park will celebrate all things automotive, with the theme this year being classic vehicles, thanks to a collaboration with the TR Register Triumph car owners club.


Advance tickets for the event start from £12 for over 16s, £5 for 13-16 year olds and under 13s go free. Car parking at this event is FREE. Tickets are available to buy on the website.


The event is expected to bring together thousands of lovers of modern, classic and vintage vehicles.

What’s new for this year’s event:


Pistons Autosolo

New for 2018, the Pistons Autosolo element of the event will give car enthusiasts the opportunity to get three runs on the technical course.

Costing £20, this will include one sighting lap on the course and two timed runs.

There are currently four one hour slots on both the Saturday and Sunday and both classic and non-classic slots are available.

Camping at Pistons

Also new this year, car enthusiasts will be able to stay over at the Showground, with camping, entertainment and a bar available overnight.

Entertainment will include a DJ set and music from The Rockin’ Beats.

Camping costs just £10 per person for the Saturday night only and electric hook up is available.

This year’s event will also see a full schedule of entertainment in the main ring throughout.

Entertainment includes a range of interviews and talks from classic car owners and live music.
