Crash at Lincoln roundabout halts traffic

‘Nobody appears to be injured’ says witness

A crash involving two vehicles has occurred on Boultham Roundabout.

Witnesses say they saw a blue Peugeot crash with a white Golf as it came off the roundabout.

Despite heavy damage to the front of the Peugeot, The Lincolnite was told that nobody appeared to be seriously injured.

Traffic going onto the roundabout from Skellingthorpe Road has slowed heavily whilst emergency services attend the scene.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “It’s a two vehicle RTC at the Moorland Avenue junction with Skellingthorpe Road.

“Damage only and no injuries. Road should be clearly shortly.”
