Purse found in the 80s turned in to police

Do you know a Diana and Lee from Market Deeping?

Imagine losing your purse over 30 years ago and suddenly being reunited…well police are trying to trace the owners of one recently handed in at a Lincolnshire station.

The red purse, including old £10 notes no longer in circulation, was found in 1987 and the person who spotted it recently got around to handing it in at Market Deeping Police station.

Police are trying to trace the owner and believe it possibly belongs to a female called Diane, who had connections with a man named Lee who both lived in the Market Deeping area.
