Uni Vice Chancellor named in top 50 ‘most influential’ list

It has been a successful year for the professor

University of Lincoln Vice Chancellor Mary Stuart has been named in a list of the top 50 most influential people in the Higher Education sector.

Professor Mary Stuart is 39th in the Higher Education Power List 2018, which is now in its fourth year, and she was commended for how the University of Lincoln has flourished under her leadership.

She has helped lead the university up to a ranking of 22nd, its highest ever position, in The Guardian University Guides, as well as a top 10 National Student Survey result and the TEF Gold award.

This is just one of many accomplishments for the professor this year after she was named as The Guardian’s ‘Inspiring Leader 2018‘ at a ceremony in London in April.

She won her second accolade of the year after being awarded an Honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE).
