A52 closed after suspected drug driving crash

One car has crashed into a building

A person was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a vehicle collided with a building on the A52 Lincolnshire this morning.

Police were called at 8.02am on Tuesday, October 23 after the three vehicle collision on the A52 Main Road, Old Leake, near a hair salon, which saw a road closed and is causing slow traffic.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “One of the vehicles is believed to have collided with a nearby building. The road is partially blocked while recovery takes place.

“We have arrested one person on suspicion of drug driving.”

The extent of any injuries is not known at the time of writing.

According to AA Traffic the A52 Main Road in Old Leake is closed and there is slow traffic in both directions near the B1184 Church Road junction because of the accident.
