Purse stolen in brazen supermarket theft

It happened in a Lincoln supermarket

A woman allegedly reached into her victim’s handbag and stole a purse during a theft at a Lincoln supermarket.

At approximately 5pm on October 6 the victim was shopping in Heron supermarket on Sincil Street in Lincoln when they were reportedly approached by a woman wearing a black jacket with fur and grey trousers.

The woman was then allegedly reached into the victim’s handbag and grabbed their purse.

Lincolnshire Police released a CCTV image of a woman they believe may be able to help with the investigation into the theft.
