150th anniversary themed Lincolnshire Show tickets on sale

Expect hundreds of new and returning exhibitors

Advanced tickets are now on sale for the 150th anniversary themed Lincolnshire Show.

This year’s special event with feature celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the Lincolnshire Agriculture Society.

Hundreds of new and local exhibitors will flock to the event to sell their wares on June 19 until June 20.

Birthday celebrations will continue throughout the show, with exciting displays and performances from freestyle motocross riders and the Shetland Pony Grand National.

New to the show this year is a lifestyle marquee which will feature crafty independent regional businesses with interior, jewellery and gardening products.

Other new highlights include the Wye-Valley Axemen with razor sharp skills and speed to impress visitors.

With more highlights still to be announced, the 135th Lincolnshire Show will recognise the best entertainment, food, shopping, music and agriculture.

Visitors can satisfy their shopping habits by visiting more than 600 trade stands, offering everything from clothes, shoes and candles to cars, lawnmowers and hot tubs.

Foodies will enjoy live demonstrations from top local chef Steven Bennet along with plenty of homemade fudge, local gin and Lincolnshire sausages.

Jayne Southall, CEO of Lincolnshire Showground, said: “We will have lots of anniversary activities taking place and non-stop entertainment over both days – there is something for everyone, whatever your age.

“We’re always looking to develop the Lincolnshire Show by adding new features and performers, but we also try to keep the traditions of a county show and maintain its roots in agriculture.

“This makes it perfect for first-time visitors or those returning year after year!”

Advanced tickets are £21 for adults, £17 for 17 to 22-year-olds, children are £6 and under-fives go free.

Family tickets, admitting two adults and up to three children are priced at £44. Car parking is free on both days.
