Lincoln forecast predicts another round of thunderstorms

The Met Office has also warned of flooding

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms with a chance of flooding.

Forecasters are expecting the storms to hit at some point in the early hours of Wednesday morning, with warnings in place until midnight.

There is a small chance that some homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with delays or cancellations to some trains or buses.

It is expected that storms and outbreaks of heavy rain will hit the southwest of the country first before the weather front moves further up to Lincolnshire.

Some parts of the country could see 30 millimetres of rain in just an hour.
