Car smashes into wall on Lincoln road

A woman was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a car collided with a wall in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police were called to Greetwell Road at 8.16am on Thursday, August 15 after a collision involving a red Volvo.

An eyewitness passing the scene, who wished to remain anonymous, said the red car launched through a right-hand side boundary wall just yards before the pedestrian crossing.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “This was a single vehicle collision in which a Volvo has collided with a wall.

“The female driver of the car has been taken to Lincoln County Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.”
