Lincoln man hospitalised after assault

A man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries suffered in an assault in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police were called to Spa Street in Lincoln after receiving a call at 1.04pm on Monday, August 19 reporting that a man had been assaulted.

Police said Spa Street was closed between the junctions with Monks Road and Winn Street and a scene guard was put in place.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
