Three in hospital after crash closes road for several hours

One man was taken to QMC with serious injuries

Three people are in hospital after a serious four-vehicle crash forced police to close off a road for several hours.

One man was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious injuries, two others were taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash was reported just before 5pm on Wednesday, August 28 on the A153 Main Road in Anwick, close to Sleaford.

It involved a black Land Rover Discovery, a black Ford Focus, a Red Skoda Citigo and a silver Kia Picanto.

Lincolnshire Police reopened the road eight hours later shortly before 1am on Thursday, August 29.
