Thunderstorms returning to Lincolnshire, Met Office warns

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for Lincolnshire from 2pm tomorrow.

The yellow grade warning states sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and possible road closures.

A weather warning is in place for Wednesday afternoon and evening.

“Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services.”

The warning is in place across the East Midlands until 10pm on Wednesday, August 14.

The current forecast for Lincoln and Lincolnshire predicts a wet weekend too.
