CCTV appeal over Lincoln High Street theft

Police believe this woman can help with their inquiries

A mobile phone was stolen from a woman outside a shop on Lincoln High Street, prompting police to issue a CCTV appeal.

A woman in her 40s briefly placed the mobile phone on the concrete slabs outside The Works and House of Fraser at around 11.45am on September 2.

It was then picked up and taken away by someone else.

Police released a CCTV appeal on Friday, October 25 of a woman who they believe can assist with inquiries into the theft.

They did not specify if the woman pictured was a suspect or a witness.
