CCTV released in search for Lincoln village Co-op thief

He has a distinctive tattoo on his wrist

Police have released pictures of a suspect in a Lincoln village shop theft investigation.

The man pictured is wanted in connection with a theft in the Welton Lincolnshire Co-op shop on Ryland Road on September 11.

At around 4.30pm, a man placed meat and other items into a holdall and left without paying.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “The male suspect is around 6ft tall, athletic build, and was wearing grey shorts and trainers, a black and grey T shirt and had short dark hair.

“He has a distinctive tattoo on his right wrist, and was carrying a black and green sports holdall.”

Anyone who recognises the person pictures or has any information is being asked to call 101 quoting incident number 285 of September 11.
