Men distract staff in Alford cafe theft

Police have issued a CCTV appeal after two men left with an extra £120 in cash during a distraction theft in Alford.

Two men entered the Cafe on Cobbles in Alford Market Place on October 11, where they asked for different denominations of change before leaving with an extra £120.

Lincolnshire Police released images of two men they would like to speak with in connection with the theft.

One of the males was in his late 20s, around five foot eight, and of stocky build. He was also wearing a baseball cap backwards.

The other man was mid to late 20s, around five foot eight and was wearing a puffer style jacket.
