Duo found guilty of vile rape and child sex offences

They will be sentenced in December

A Lincolnshire couple have been found guilty of rape and sexual offences against children.

Oliver Wilson, 28, of Donington near Spalding and Rebecca Holloway, 26, formerly of Rutland Street in Grimsby, were convicted of a number of sexual offences against children after a joint investigation between Lincolnshire and Humberside Police.

Holloway admitted offences of raping a child and making and distributing indecent images of children. The string of twisted offences at her hands included raping a young girl and sexually injuring a boy.

Now a court order has been lifted which allows her male accomplice to be identified.

Wilson, who courts heard was obsessed with the Lolita movie, has been found guilty of 11 charges of rape and sexual abuse of a child aged between four and six between 2014 and 2016. He admitted rape, sexual assault by penetration and making indecent photographs of children.

Both have admitted two offences of rape of a child, including one on multiple occasions, and conspiracy to sexually assault a child under 13.

Wilson and Holloway were remanded in custody and will both be sentenced in Grimsby in December 2019.

Wilson came to the attention of Lincolnshire Police after he had been found to be buying and selling children’s underwear online. Police searching his home reportedly discovered a bin bag of soiled children’s clothes, a photo of a young child on his phone and a copy of the Lolita movie.

When his electronic devices were examined, a series of chat logs between Wilson and Holloway were uncovered. They indicated that both had been involved in and were planning further abuse of children.

The chat log described in graphic detail the sexual abuse and rape of a young girl and further sexual abuse of a young boy.

When police raided Holloway’s home, they reportedly found sex toys and pictures of children – including close-ups of girls’ underwear.

Officers from Lincolnshire Police’s Protecting Vulnerable Persons Unit took immediate action to locate the duo.

Lincolnshire Police, along with Humberside Police and Children’s Services, worked to ensure the defendants were brought to justice. They also made sure that any children identified were appropriately safeguarded.

Julia Tee-Boon, Detective Sergeant from Lincolnshire Police’s Protecting Vulnerable Persons unit, said: “I would like to say how thankful I am to officers from both Lincolnshire and Humberside for their tireless and meticulous efforts in bringing these offenders to justice.

“This is an excellent example of how important it is for us to look past the obvious and to fully investigate these individuals who come to our attention.

“Had we not discovered these incriminating messages, we would have not known that this abuse was taking place. It is a testament to the professionalism of those involved in this case, that these children have now been saved from a horrific period of sexual abuse.

“Crimes such as these are abhorrent and vile, and we are fully determined to bringing offenders such as these to justice. My thoughts go out to the innocent victims, and we will work hard to make sure all the services are there for them to get all the help and support they need.”
