Three arrested after Boston stabbing

The people involved were known to each other

Three people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in the abdomen in a fight in Boston.

Officers were call to Tunnard Street in Boston at 12.10am on Monday morning following reports of a fight involving a number of people.

Firearms officers were deployed and found that a 24-year old man had sustained a serious stab wound to his abdomen.

A 26-year old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and house to house inquiries have been taking place.

Officers remain in the Red Lion Street and Tunnard Street areas today.

A 25-year-old man and a 44-year-old man have also been arrested on suspicion of affray.

Detective Inspector Gail Hurley said: “This was an isolated incident in which the people involved were known to each other.

“We are working hard to establish the circumstances of what has happened and information from local residents will be extremely valuable to our inquiries.

“Please get in touch if you saw what happened or captured any footage or images of the altercation taking place.
