Road closed both ways after A1175 crash near Stamford

It has caused some traffic delays

The A1175 Main Road at Uffington was closed in both directions after a crash on Thursday morning, according to AA Traffic.

The crash, which happened between Barnack Road, Uffington, and Barholm Road, Tallington, was reported to Lincolnshire Police at 5.40am on Thursday, December 12.

The road was closed until it re-opened at around 7am, police said, and road slow signs were left in place.

It was affecting traffic between Stamford and the Deepings.

A man in his 20s and another male in his 30s received minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “At 5.40am today (Thursday) we received a report of a single vehicle collision on the A1175, Main Road, Uffington.

“The driver, a man in his 20s, and the passenger, a man in his 30s, received minor injuries.”
