Drone search for North Cotes man missing for a month

Have you seen John Davis?

Police have been using drones to search for a North Cotes man who went missing at the end of January.

John Carl Davis, 56, was last seen on January 29 on Bethlehem Street in Grimsby, close to Freshney Place Shopping Centre, before police later found his car in the Hartwell Ford area of the town two days later.

On Wednesday, police used drones to search both the North Thoresby and North Cotes areas.

Lincolnshire Police and Humberside Police are both working on the case, with the former taking the lead. Police previously said it is believed that John was in the Grimsby area and to report any sightings to them.

Humberside Police added that there were two reported sightings of John – one by someone who saw him near the war memorial Holton le Clay at around 9pm on January 29.

The second was an unconfirmed sighting on the Peaks Parkway in Grimsby at around 5pm on Sunday, February 2.

Anyone with information or sightings of John should call police quoting the relevant incident numbers 175 of January 30 (Lincolnshire Police) and log 86 of January 31 (Humberside Police).
