Lincoln Curiosity Shop bar ready to reopen Friday

The bar says it has the ‘biggest gin collection in the city’

A popular Lincoln bar with ‘the biggest gin collection in the city’ will reopen its doors on Friday for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown began.

The Curiosity Shop at the top of Lincoln High Street will have a reduced capacity to help it conform with government guidelines.

It will reopen on Friday, July 17 from 5pm until late, and from 3pm until late on Saturday, July 18. Initially the bar will just be open on Fridays and Saturdays.

Guests will be able to use a new app to order and pay for drinks to be delivered directly to their table.

Operations Manager David Nejrup told The Lincolnite: “We are excited to be relaunching The Curiosity Shop this Friday.

“The team has been working tirelessly, constantly reviewing and enhancing our systems and procedures to ensure that our team’s and guest’s safety remains our number one priority, while delivering a quality experience and atmosphere.

“Things are obviously still going to be a little bit different for a while, but guests can still expect the same high level of service, the biggest gin collection in the city, fantastic cocktails, and of course some fascinating curiosities to peruse, barter and buy from our shopkeepers.”
