Over 350 recovered from COVID-19 after Lincolnshire hospitals care

People with coronavirus who needed medical attention

Over 350 people have now returned home after receiving care and treatment for coronavirus in Lincolnshire’s hospitals.

The number of COVID-19 patients discharged from ULHT hospitals reached 300 in June.

On July 20 ULHT said 347 patients had returned home and by Wednesday, July 22 this figure had risen to 351.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which has hospitals in Lincoln, Boston and Grantham, said that by staying at home people are protecting the NHS so that its staff can come into work.

The trust said: “We would like to say a big thank you to every member of our incredible staff, you really are amazing.”

According to the latest government statistics, there are 3,422 coronavirus cases in Greater Lincolnshire.

Of those 2,481 were in Lincolnshire, 729 in North Lincolnshire and 212 in North East Lincolnshire.

There have been 437 COVID-19-related deaths in Greater Lincolnshire, including 142 at ULHT.
